Happiness is...

I think I can agree with Charlie Brown on a few things.

Happiness is being alone every now and then.
And Happiness is coming home again.
Happiness is morning and evening,
daytime and nighttime too.
For Happiness is anyone and anything at all,
that's loved by you.

Charlie Brown also says happiness is having a sister, catching a firefly, sharing a sandwich, etc. I think Charlie left out a few things though. Clearly, he has never lived in the Colony.

I love my friends here. I've reached the point where sometimes I'm convinced that I can't love them anymore than I already do...but then my love just grows and grows and grows AND grows a little bit more.

This past week/weekend was GA-REAT.

Last Wednesday was awesome. When I got home from work, Chylie and I helped Keenan fix his car...and by help I mean we took pictures :)

After that, THE Brigham Kmetzsch came over to visit along with THE Rose Carter. It was soo soooo good to see them :)

THEN we had a cake batter waffle party to continue with our daily holidays.

Thursday was a good day too :) Aubrie and Aaron drove me to the temple, I got to see Mckinley, and spent more time with the gang.

Friday. Friday I went on a date with my friend Austin from my ward. We doubled with some of the other 460 boys and played "gentlemen" sports. We had a fun time with croquet and Austin and I even took second place...yeah, I played Varsity golf. Nbd.

Then we went to Macey's to get some Kong Kones, BUT the ice cream place was closed. This was how Keenan took that news...

So we just bought cartons of ice cream instead and went back to their apartment to eat it :) Also, Friday was "act like Keenan" day, so we had to take some pictures to represent that.

Soon after we woke up on Saturday, we had a knock on our door from the 460 boys with the invite to go play frisbee golf. No one turns down these guys. They're very persuasive.

I learned something about myself while playing....I am horrible at throwing a frisbee. People would take cover anytime I threw because my frisbee always seemed to go straight to people's heads. The group awarded me with "most improved player," but I like to tell myself that they really meant "most valuable player." I came up with a few strategies like putting the frisbee up my shirt and carrying it further, or having others secretly throw my frisbee. These guys were pros.

Afterwards we went to Macey's to get our long awaited Kong Kones. These things were HUGE. Prefect for a hot summer day. Then we played Where's Waldo with Keenan in the store since he was wearing a red and white striped shirt.

Helping with groceries. So sweet.

THEN we went on a hike to Battlecreek falls in Pleasant Grove. The hike was short and sweet and beautiful. Just the way I like it.

Cade repelling. Crazy kid!

THENNNN we went back to the Colony and some of us went and ate some hot dogs by the pool. Summer at its finest.

THEENNNNNNNNN we all cleaned up and started to watch a movie that our neighbors were projecting, but shortly decided we wanted to do something better. We went to Kiwanas park and climbed on to the roof of the pavilion to look at the stars. I think we were all so tired from the days activities to the point where  anything was funny. We played a game where you can't show your teeth and everyone in the circle is a different fruit. Hahaha I'm laughing just thinking about it. We also played the game where you lay in a circle and tap your hands along with "never have I ever." Then we just decided to sing every song to ever be written....lots of oldies, some good Disney songs, and even "Chicken Fried." We saw a shooting star!!! So cool.

That was the Saturday of all Saturdays. I wish every Saturday could be like that where I'm so tired by the end of the day because every single minute was spent doing fun things with people I love.

Sunday was great :) Church in the 95th ward was amazing and then we had break the fast with breakfast foods. Coincidence? I think not! Then I talked to my parentals, and then Cade helped me make a bunch of Rice Krispies for ward prayer. Then over to 460 for some games. We played a game where you put a bunch of nouns in a bowl and then go around the circle first describing with sentences, then one word, then actions, then one pose. It got pretty competitive! It was funny to hear the different nouns put in the bowl...we have similar interests so "Disneyland" was in the bowl at least 4 times and so was "Hogwarts."

Yesterday was Lucy's birthday! I will post about that later because I still need to upload the pictures :)

10 days until we leave for Orlando. Wow baby.
