So Magic Kingdom is basically like Disneyland, just a little smaller.
The first part of the day is a little crazy. Magic Kingdom is on this little island thing so you have to ride this ferry boat thing. It was very sunny.
We got there before the park opened so we got to see the cute little "Welcome to Magic Kingdom" thing. Peter Pan was one of the welcoming characters and he was looking mighty fine.
Annndd again with the running. We booked it to Splash Mountain. Conveniently, it is right next to Thunder Mountain so we rode each of them 2 times in the first 45 minutes! Boom.
Then we hit up pirates and this creeper lady crashed our pictures!
Throughout the day we hit up some other favorites...
Astro Blasters.
Small World...
There was this weeeiiirdd ride called the People Mover. What a fitting title. All it does is move people. Haha it was a good, relaxing ride.
You can tell by the picture that this picture was taken during the middle of the day. We were hot, and tired. The cure? EATING. Who knew, right?
We also enjoyed some other things in Tomorrowland such as Space Mountain, and Monsters Inc. Laugh Floor. It was actually really funny! Ethan and I also hit the worst ride to ever hit Disney World...the Speedway. Yikes. It's Autopia but 10 times worse.
We decided in the late afternoon that we would divide and conquer. Mom and I went to Mainstreet to look at the shops and stuff, Dad and Ethan went back to Tomorrowland (apparently they went on a ride call "Stitch's Escape." WRE according to my dad...worst. ride. ever.), and who knows what Aubrie and Aaron did. Hahaha jokes. They went shopping too.
We also rode the Jungle Cruise...some things never change. Let's just say our tour guide liked his job just a little too much. Those jokes...no. Just no.
We also noticed lots of differences throughout the day between Disneyland and Magic Kingdom.
For instance, the Tarzan Tree House in Disneyland is the Swiss Family Robinson tree house in Magic Kingdom. And the castle in Magic Kingdom could EAT the castle in Disneyland. The Florida one is huge!
During the day I had a...uh...encounter... with Peter Pan. I saw him on a bridge and I freaked out and started walking close to him. Then he walked back to where there was a line waiting for him. My family and I had been filming a music video, so I started to dance with Peter Pan in the background. All of a sudden I hear, "Do you have ants in your pants??" It was Peter! Without even a second of hesitation I replied,
"Yeah, for you!" Still can't believe I said that to Peter Pan. Whatever. Secret's out. I like him.
Speaking of the PP himself, we got fast passes for Peter Pan's Flight! I LOVE THAT RIDE.
We ate lots of yummy treats throughout the day. You have to at Disney parks, right?
DOLE PINEAPPLE WHIP! (bigger than the ones at Disneyland...just sayin)
Mickey Pretzels!
CHURROS!!!!
Look at those animatronics! ;)
At night we watched the Mainstreet Electrical Parade. It was awesome!!
Then they had this AWESOME show where they project scenes on the castle from different Disney movies.
And the fireworks :)
At the end of the day we were EXHAUSTED. Back to the ferry. Someday when I own Disney World I am going to insist that they make fast passes available for the ferry ride back! Seriously! It's like a cattle drive!
WHAT A DAY.
